Alphagram products can help learners having difficulties. They are an essential part of a phonetic, sequential, multisensory approach to teaching reading. That is, the child sees the letter, traces the letter with his or her finger, hears the sound and says the sound -- all in one synchronized activity. It really works!
Alphagram is not only for kids having difficulties. Our products can help every child's reading skills improve. In schools around the country, our materials are successfully used to supplement whole-language, literature-based K-3 reading programs. They are also excellent for home schooling, and are a great way for parents to introduce pre-schoolers to the alphabet and the concepts of letter-sounds and blending.
